Hi Dan & Kelly-
Well, it looks like your going to need a new batch of pups. Gus is growing by leaps and bounds, literally. He is getting so big, and is making his way around the neighborhood. As you can see by the photos he is very at home and comfortable. His school (me) starts on Saturday with Sit. He is now kennel trained and is ok with the leash. He's really a great pup. Enjoy the photos.

Hi Dan & Kelly-
First, feel free to have the lady contact me in regard to Parker. I was very close to taking him home myself. You have done a great job on your Springers. Gus is well-adjusted, confident, cocky, and very handsome. The ride home last Saturday was actually quite uneventful. He cried for about 15 minutes and I stopped and had Ann move to the back seat with Sara. Ann's really good with baby dogs and he calmed down. Half way home he started to fuss again so we let him out to go potty and that did the trick. At approximately 5pm he started to fuss again so we stopped at a park and fed him. Wow, does he like his food! One more stop for potty and we arrived home. The first night was relatively easy. He slept in a wash basket by my bed and I just stroked him until he fell asleep. He slept all night. Wow- was that easy. He now sleeps in a kennel beside the bed and settles right in each night. No fuss. Like I said, you did a great job. We have had only a couple of "accidents" on the floor. Most of the time he will go to the door and whine to go out. He's getting the idea. This week we spent our time socializing with the locals. He went to the bank and met all the tellers. If only I could get that kind of attention. Man- if I were single I'd have more dates than I could handle. As they say- He's a regular "babe magnet". We then went to the pharmacy, the feed store, and finally to the vet clinic. My last Springer always quivered with nerves when we went to the vet's. I wanted him to meet the folks there without poking and prodding so it would become a friendly place. I just had them give him treats. He left happy. Has his first appt. next Thursday. He has adjusted very well and is obviously very happy. He greets the family members and friends with enthusiasm, has a great appetite, sleeps soundly, and plays hard. He is really enjoying exploring the yard. He's is growing fast and now weighs 10lbs. He's really a "chunk". We truly enjoy him and laugh all the time. He'll be running the woods for Pats next October. He's going to love it. We sent some photos and will continue to do so as time goes on. Dan and Kelly, thankyou again so much for allowing us the opportunity to adopt such a fine young Springer. We will continue to be in touch.
Love my Springer- Steve and Ann
